2ND TAKE, a movie I have a bit part in opposite Tom Everett Scott, is now available on Netflix, Amazon and Video on Demand! (It’s a fantastic film, cast and crew with a particularly fabulous director!) http://www.2ndtakethemovie.com/
and last but not least, I’m lucky enough to join the cast of “Welcome Home, Soldier” this weekend at Playhouse West. It’ll be my first time back on stage in an ensemble cast since 2007! VERY excited.
2011: The last six months…
So, it has been a BUSY year!!!
To recap the last six months, I…
GOT MARRIED!
Wrote a Poetry Book!
Wrote, Produced, Acted in and Edited a super mini webseries!
Sang Three Musical Numbers in Playhouse West’s October Talent Pool!
and Acted in two Short Films!
Needless to say, it has been a wonderful last six months. As 2011 is nearing its an end, I’m finding myself ready to remotivate for 2012! A new year, a fresh start! My goals in 2012 are to land a TV pilot small role, land a Movie lead role, find an agency that believes in me and one I can rely on, get some new headshots, write a script, return to the stage! and continue to work on and support creative projects that I believe in. I am thankful for being surrounded by friends that motivate me, challenge me and frankly, use me for my talents
as well as continue to believe in me. I am also very thankful to learn new skills so that I can be a more well-rounded person, and actor, and to have rediscovered and honed some old skills too!
Playhouse West has proven to be the best choice I have made this year for my career. My teachers and classmates challenge me every week, almost every day to be exact. They keep me honest and open and motivated. I am truly a ”you can do anything you put your heart in” woman thanks to them! And I am better because of it, in my acting, and in my everyday life!
I hope that this holiday season brings you lots of love and laughter and reminders of why it is great to be alive.
And I wish you well in the new year!

My Most Recent Update APRIL 2011
Hello, hello!
After a wonderful and exciting Pilot Season, I can proudly say I had 15 auditions and 3 callbacks! (which is awesome for being a first timer!) Many Thanks to my support team at ABC, my agents at Diverse Talent Group and my H&W Talent Managers. Teamwork is where it’s at!
I decided last month, in the midst of auditioning, that it was time to start studying again, and I am excited to announce that I am currently a Playhouse West member. Playhouse West is an excellent studio that is helping me get back to my beginning acting roots. Allowing myself to be changed and affected. To motivate myself. To find out who I really am so that I may be the best actor I can be. My fellow members are so welcoming and talented and I am honored to be a part of this studio.
Last, but not least, I am very excited to announce that I am, now, a proud member of The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. My agent and managers agreed joining AFTRA was the next best step for me in my career and I am looking forward to what being a part of this Union means for me and my team.
Thanks, as always, for your constant support.

12 Actors to Perform in Los Angeles for a Select Group of Network and Industry Executives
“Grey’s Anatomy” Star Jesse Williams and “Dancing with the Stars’” Carrie Ann Inaba Among Former Showcase Participants
As part of its continuing effort to find and develop culturally and ethnically diverse talent and actors with disabilities, the Disney/ABC Television Group’s Casting Project will celebrate its 25th showcase featuring 12 talented, yet-to-be discovered actors. The presentations will take place at the El Portal Theatre Center for Performing Arts in North Hollywood, on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 10.
Twelve actors were selected from among more than 5000 candidates who submitted their resumes and the 500 who auditioned for ABC casting executives in Los Angeles. The actors will showcase their skills in one-act vignettes directed by Sue Hamilton and Luanne Nunes de Char to an audience of industry executives and decision makers. Many of the actors selected came to the showcase through its partners AFTRA, SAG, East West Players, Media Access, Nosotros and the Robey Theatre, as well as many other theatre companies and organizations in the Los Angeles area. Following the showcase, all 12 actors will be assigned a network executive from the casting department who will act as their mentor and help nurture their skills and provide guidance throughout the year. The actors will also audition throughout for ABC Entertainment Group’s current series and pilots.
The talented actors to be featured at the showcase, which is not open to the public, are Brandon Bell, Mariah Buzolin, Ace Marrero, Nikki McKenzie, Brittany Phillips, Nadine Rajabi, Bryant Romo, Adeye Sahran, Jean Paul San Pedro, Keong Sim, Aiden Simko and Sara Tomko.
The casting showcase is spearheaded by Keli Lee, executive vice president, Casting; Ayo Davis, vice president, Casting; Randi Chugerman, executive director, Casting; Karen Noble, manager, Casting and Showcase Coordinator Peachy Pascual and the Los Angeles casting Office.
“We are very excited to present our 25th showcase as a testament to the success of the program,” Ms. Lee said. “ABC’s commitment to introduce a diverse talent pool to the industry is as strong as ever.”
ABC’s Los Angeles and New York Talent Showcases have been the launching pad for discovering new talent, including Jesse Williams, who currently stars on “Grey’s Anatomy” as Dr. Jackson Avery, and “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba.
The Disney/ABC Television Group’s commitment to discovering and nurturing diverse talent is exemplified through many different programs, including the Casting Project, the Disney/ABC Writing Program, the Disney/ABC/DGA Directing Program, The Production Associates Program and The National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) Writing Workshop.
